Dataset attribution

Aner bundles the following UCI Machine Learning Repository teaching datasets, including copies embedded in its executable. Their data licenses are separate from the license of Aner's own software. Retain these notices, the associated dataset metadata, and the included license text when redistributing the bundled data or binaries containing it.

Iris

The complete official CC BY 4.0 legal text, including its disclaimer of warranties and liability, is included without alteration. UCI's dataset pages identify this license for both datasets. The supplied archive notices are preserved; no new copyright holder claim is invented where an upstream file supplies none.

Credit the dataset creators and source, retain supplied notices and license links, and identify changes when sharing copies or derived versions. The license does not imply endorsement by the creators, UCI, or Creative Commons. Future preprocessing, corrected variants, or redistributed subsets should retain this provenance and describe their additional changes.

Hashes and complete feature/label metadata are recorded in datasets/manifest.json. Raw data and license downloads are pinned locally; Aner's build and runtime do not fetch these datasets from the internet.
